Milk for cat

we always consider that milk is healthy for all, including for cats. do you know that adult cats are lactose-intolerant, and have problems digesting it. for restrain from having diarrhea, detective conan (comic) had ever shown about how to give ordinary milk-powder for cat. we should give more warm water, 2:1 than usual. warm with your body for 10 minute. after that, you can give the milk for your cat.

Some experts advise that cream is better than regular milk if you must give it to cats, probably because cream has less lactose than whole or skim milk. But again, a small amount of skim milk seems to be okay for your kitty, so I wouldn't worry about it. But now, there are many lactose-free milk substitutes for cats have been developed. you can get it in nearest pet shop.

good bye magjun, heaven is the best place for you...

my lovely magjun has been past away last month (14/12/09). if you don't know magjun, see post below, that is picture of him. that day was just like ordinary day. i woke up early morning, take wudhu and then praying. after praying, i go to living room and watch tv with my cousin.

and then i go to my bed room to take my towel. before take a bath, i check my cellphone, and there is a message from my cousin at home (ciamis), the message said "Ajun meninggal (Ajun die)", my tears just drop, i feel so sad and lost him. He is one of many reason for me to go home.

my cousin told, car hit him at night, but there is no blood on him. when i come back home i feel so empty, when saw the place where i gave him "sate" at ied qurban, suddenly my tears drop again.

good bye magjun so many story i shared with you, you're more than a pet for me.  heaven is the best place for you...

my Cats i'm coming,,,,

finally, i'm home today...i'll see my cats again. i'm wondering, are they growing bigger?what else that they can do?how many birds (lol) they can catch?ugh...really miss them...
hopefully in next post i can't show you their photos..magyu, puput, dewi, unyit, ndut, ngah are you miss me?

cat sterilisation

i have joining mailing list which concern about cat. one of the message invite us to sterilize cats. this is my first experience. i wonder what the meaning with cat sterilisation, and then i browse internet and find the answer. sterilisation for cat means to control over cat birth. because uncontrolled cat population, many cat stray being killed every year. it mean, the fewer cats born, the fewer cats have to suffer and die.

make your own cat snack...

it's so simple to make your own cat snack. here is the recipe :

-ingredients :
1 lb. ground beef, cooked
1/4 lb. beef or pork liver, cooked & chopped
1 c. cooked rice
1 tsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. calcium carbonate (Tums)

-Combine ingredients. Can be seasoned to your cat's taste with gravy or brewers yeast. You can also vary the ground beef with ground turkey or pork.
